BAKED GOODS ANNA SUI’S HEARTLAND SS21 VIRTUAL FASHION SHOW
Anna Sui‘s SS21 range brought us home comfort with a slice of cherry pie. Showcasing pretty garments with unique eyewear shapes, she left us longing for a sense of childhood creativity.
Titled the ‘Heartland‘ collection, Sui created a virtual fashion show for #NYFW that was full of nostalgia. “I began thinking about what home means to me– comfort, security, the smells of delectable meals and desserts being made with care…” says the brand’s Fashion Designer.
Also, influenced by artists Charles Burchfield and painter Berthe Morisot, Anna Sui reused old frames to bring back to life bold and eclectic styles. Feminine and dreamy, the eyewear range includes a dainty butterfly frame as well as a delicate love heart shape. In addition to that, perfectly round sunglasses paired with floral floaty dresses for the ultimate girly look.
Crafted in metal, the styles are available in tainted pastel rays such as baby pink and blue.
