The All Seeing Eye

Comment, Style & Design News from Mondottica

Nostalgic yet modern, Sergio Tacchini’s FW20 presentation at Pitti Uomo last week was a deferential tribute to the brand’s history. Signature looks of the past paired with relaxed silhouettes of the future to mark the relaunch of the sportswear label.

Taking place at the spectacular Tepidarium del Roster, Sergio Tacchini presented “Impossible Angles”, the first collection by the new Creative Director Dao-Yi Chow. While marking a new era for the Italian brand, Dao ties together elements of the heritage “where shapes, angles, chevrons and geometric blocking sit at the forefront of the tangible”.

The presentation also showcased the debut eyewear collection throughout, with models styling the most iconic pieces from the range. Signature visors, tiny metal sunglasses inspired by the ’80s hip-hop scene and geeky specs in acetate among others.
