THE RAKE X HACKETT SIGNATURE EYEWEAR COLLECTION: THE ISLES OF MAN
The Rake Magazine edit of the Hackett Signature Eyewear collection by Mr. Hackett serves mysterious and sophisticated James Bond-like vibes. Shot at the grand Corinthia Hotel in the heart of London and photographed by Tomo Brejc, the photo series titled “The Isles of Man” showcases two frames from the brand’s latest Signature range.
Sunglass style HJP800 is a classic square frame, which infuses modernist sensibilities with Hackett’s trusted heritage. Crafted in Japanese acetate, the horn effect gives a soft, warm look and feel. In addition to that, mitred joints perfectly adjust the front angle, ensuring a smooth finish and a perfect connection between the front and the temples. To complete the look, metallic stretched “H”s frame the end pieces while embossed “JPH” initials in italics embellish the upper temples.
Also featured in the shoot is the equally suave oversized optical frame HJPO102. This design is a timeless racing style thanks to its sporty aesthetic. A lightweight acetate model, it features special tortoiseshell lamination on the double bridge as well as on the temples, which extend into end tips in the same colour as the top bar. Further enriching the temples, a gun metal plaque bears the “JPH” initials adding panache to the design as a whole.
