Indisputably Maje, the Spring/Summer optical collection 2019 remixes the maison’s classics and features iconic brand signatures throughout, such as the “M” monogram on the temple tips or subtle logo engravings on the metal nose bridges. Followers of Maje and readers of The All-Seeing Eye will know that this is a collection made for the girl who celebrates her femininity whilst daring to be different (See link below)
Style MJ1016 is bold in shape, palette and overall appearance. Colour options include milky burgundy, milky grey and the ‘snappy tort’ version featured below. A beautiful Art Deco detailing runs along the metal work on the temples and is visible through two hand crafted pieces of acetate in ultra-light UTA material. The style is also embellished by bespoke metal hinges and three chic rivets on the front.
Imagined as a unique find of a Maje girl venturing through a vintage New York flea market, metal style MJ3006 looks as if it could have been hand-drawn in calligraphy. The vintage design is modernised with the use of shiny bevelled metal on the front, matt metal along the temples, centred around a slim nose bridge.
Aiming at idealistic dreamy urbanites, the collection is strong and continues to fulfil the dream of city and nature reconciling in harmony for the warmest season.
